This was our last wedding of 2022 and what a way to end! Andrew and Marlena chose to Elope at Dead Horse Point State Park, in Moab Utah. This specific location held great sentimental significance to them as they've enjoyed hiking and exploring there together, and they even got engaged there. We were initially unsure about what kind of weather to expect, (being December and all) but it actually turned out to be a very pleasant 50 degrees with no wind and a nice layer of clouds that made for those ideal lighting conditions that every photographer hopes for. We met Andy & Lena at their Airbnb in town. Alison stayed with Lena and took some getting ready photos while Andy and I headed out to Dead Horse point to get set up. The ceremony was super simple and beautiful, just as they wanted it. After the ceremony we spent an hour or so wandering around taking fun photos (especially with their only guest, Grey their Dalmatian) and then finished with a champagne toast. Pretty much our idea of an ideal Elopement.
