We LOVED shooting this wedding for many reasons. Firstly, it was on Valentines day!
Secondly, Sunset Ranch is such a gorgeous venue and last but certainly not least because Nate and Mel are an adorable and madly in-love couple.
This also was the first wedding we've done since Covid began, that has been more than 5 guests. Having bigger groups means more fun, and this group was SO. MUCH. FUN!
Sunset Ranch is unique from most Hawaii venues because it isn't on the beach. It's nestled deep in the mountains of Pupukea. It is Lush and green, and adorned with beautiful, tropical trees and well manicured gardens. It's called Sunset Ranch for good reason. As the sun set on the distant ocean we were treated with a beautiful warm, orange glowing sky.
We just love weddings, like seriously! All of those little moments, like when the bride realizes "this is really about to happen" and is overcome with emotion, or a groom anxiously waiting to see his beautiful bride walk down the isle, that's what gets us stoked.
Mel and Nate's day was filled with moments like that. They are such an amazing couple with a beautiful love story.
